I am Emma and I would like to try to give you an authentic sense of who I am. 
You have landed on my website with a curiosity about Reiki and how I work with energy.
In whatever capacity we may work together it's vital you feel safe and comfortable.
 
My Journey
I was brought up with Reiki, my mum is my Reiki Master and Teacher. 
Working with universal energy has been a very normal concept and practice for me since I was a young child. In my early 20’s I was attuned, by my mum, in Reiki 1, and truly for the last 20 plus years, energy work has been a daily practice for me. It has been a gift to me, that I am not sure I can express my gratitude for in words on this page. I work on my own healing and evolution every day and it has held me through all the highs and lows that this human experience has to offer.
 
I believe that because Reiki was always held in such high esteem in my upbringing that it has had a huge impact on my relationship to the sacred practice, to the value, to the limitless power of channeling universal, divine energy and to my sovereign trust. 
I became a Reiki 2 (practitioner level) in my 20’s, and then in my late 30’s with great honour and dedication I became a Reiki Master. A role I hold in high reverence, and in honesty, a position that took me time to feel I was capable to step into and fully embody.
I am blown away by the healing powers of Reiki and deeply believe they should never be underestimated and always held with the greatest respect and grace. 

My Approach 
As you can see my lineage is short, number 7 from Dr Usui himself.
In my attunements and training I stay true to the traditional teachings of Reiki 
-It really is such an exquisite ceremony. 
Then I encourage students to develop their own unique way of sharing their gift. 
As a practitioner I work very intuitively. Working as a channel for love energy and guided messages. 
I am a love worker…. Although that’s not always the best thing to tell people when you first meet them! I am a light worker in every sense. I am also attuned to light body and ascension work.
 
For me, energy work is so deeply creative, nourishing and playful, which has always
supported my other love of theatre. I have worked as an actress and creator 
a movement director and teacher. 
I currently teach theatre practice mainly to adults in mental health recovery. I teach and guide people through the principles of improvisation, stand-up comedy, comedy acting and clown. 
I am a joy seeker and a space holder for play, curiosity, truth and ultimately healing. 

My Joy 
I love my work and for me it feels like such a blessing and my truth.
My present excitement is to bring my skills together and to really let them feed each other. They complement each other so richly. 
If you are playing with me there is healing. If you are healing with me, there is joy. 
At the moment I am working on some workshops that incorporate both. Watch this space!

In my personal mediation, healing and creation I work closely with ceremonial cacao. It's such a joyful heart opening plant medicine. Her energy grounds and illuminates me. I also call in angels and am blessed to access spirit guides. I find so much pleasure in journaling.
 
I live in beautiful Lewes with my two earth angels Molly, Willow and Merlin our cats. I practise from my magical Roundhouse in my garden.
